Kielder Castle Cafe is integrated in the ancient Kielder Castle, built in 1775 as a hunting lodge for the Duke of Northumberland. The cosy family run cafe serves locally sourced homemade food daily including breakfasts, lunches, snacks, soup and cakes.
Enjoy the open log fire, watch the live wildlife camera or the native red squirrels on the feeder outside
Situated very close to the Scottish Border Kielder is the remotest village in England and is a haven for the outdoor lovers. Miles of forest that surrounds a picturesque man made lake, with many mountain bike trails,walks and art projects to visit.
We welcome walkers,mountain-bikers,motor-cyclists and all outdoor lovers. The venue has a welcoming picnic area and facilities in the Castle Courtyard.
We are dog friendly providing they are kept on a lead.
