Within the Kielder area:
- Tower Knowe Visitor Centre shop and information centre sells souvenirs, ice creams, drinks, post cards, soft toys and some outdoor wear along with fishing permits, starter packs and bait
- Kielder Waterside shop sells souvenirs, ice creams, postcards, soft toys, some groceries such as bread, milk and frozen products along with essential toiletries. Fishing permits, starter packs and bait are also on sale.
- Kielder General Store, at the Station Garage in Kielder village, stocks a range of beers, wines and local beers and a small selection of spirits. Freshly filled baguettes are served from 10am – 2pm daily with filled rolls, savoury pastries and traybakes available to takeaway.
Closed on Monday (with the exception of the August bank holiday when open from 10am – 2pm).
Open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am -6pm, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 7pm and Sunday from 10am to 2pm.
- Kielder village Post Office is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 9.30am to 4pm, on Tuesday from 9.30am to 12 midday & Saturday from 9.30am to 1pm.
- Falstone Team Room, which is open from 10am to 3pm daily, with the exception of Wednesday when closed all day, sells basic groceries and cleaning products as well as firelighters and logs.
- Bellingham, approximately 15 miles from Kielder Waterside, has several shops including a Co-op grocery store, hardware shop, butchers, chemist, and post office. There is also a garage with general dealer’s shop.
